Chocolate Hazelnut Balls

Craving a sweet treat without all the added sugar? These copycat Ferraro Rocher balls are so good you’ll want to always have them on hand!

Equipment

  • Food processor
  • Baking sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 6 dates
  • 1 cup hazelnuts roasted
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp hemp seeds
  • water as needed

Instructions
 

  • Blend dates, hazelnuts, cocoa powder, and hemp seeds in a food processor.
  • Add 2-3 tbsp of water to make it form into a paste.
  • Roll date paste into balls, layer on parchment lined baking sheet, and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
  • Optional: for more chocolately goodness, drizzle with melted dark chocolate prior to freezing.
  • Remove from freezer to thaw a few minutes prior to serving. Sprinkle with cocoa powder if desired.
